Jim's Review:
"Do you do much 2D drawing in ArchiCAD? If so, do we have a new tool for you. It is an ArchiCAD Add-On called ArchiRuler . It gives you a new 2D palette with all kinds enhanced 2D productivity tools. Do you want to draw a series of parallel lines? I?ve found 3 or 4 ways to do it. Want to draw horizontal or vertical lines without having to hold the shift key down? Want to draw a series or parallel lines that are pre-spaced with the ability to set separate lines and pens No sweat. How about triangles, pentagons, hexagons etc? Well you have a choice of 3 ways of drawing them. ArchiRuler takes the hotspot, line and arc tool and adds new shapes and geometry methods. There are tools to allow you to trim 2D elements inside or outside a marquee. Another tool allows you to quickly add guidelines. ArchiRuler is very intuitive and has built in help-I can?t wait to see what else it can do once I
read the manual. By now you may be wondering why it is called ArchiRuler. I've saved the best for last. There is a tool that allows you to click on any 2D or 3D entity and you get an inspector dialogue box. For 2D elements you get the length, width, and angle. For 3D elements you get the height. With Polygons you get the perimeter length, area and height. And when you click on walls you get the inside and outside length of the wall."

Cigraph plug-ins now use a protection key/dongle. Configuring a new dongle or adding a new plug-in to an existing dongle can take a full business day for Cigraph to complete. Plug-ins can be used on any ArchiCAD station and are no longer limited to use with only one ArchiCAD dongle. Single and network usage are not possible on the same Cigraph dongle. A single Cigraph dongle can support up to 10 different individual Cigraph plug-ins at the same time. Or, it can be used to support up to 5 different network plug-ins.This plug-in does not support academic/keyless ArchiCAD versions, ArchiCAD Start Edition, or Constructor. If you serialize this to a PayPerUse key you will lose the ability to use your Cigraph add-on when your PayPerUse time runs out.
