General Info and Rates:
Ground shipping is not available to Alaska or Hawaii (2nd Day Air or Standard Overnight only). Because shipping rates vary for delivery to these two states you will be contacted if your shipping rates are higher than shown at checkout.

US Shipping Rates:
Ground shipping - $0 through December 31, 2009 for all orders over $99.99. (Reg: $5.99 for the first item, $8.99 for two items).
2nd Day Air and Standard Overnight - Calculated based on zip code, and weight.
International Shipping - CAD Garage offers shipping within the United States only.


Books & DVD's:
Most training books & DVD's are in stock at "the garage" and available for immediate shipping. We carry the largest line of ArchiCAD books and aim to keep them in stock at all times. If you need a book or DVD the next day please call us M-F before 3:00pm and we will try to get it out.

Plotter Shipping:
Due to the size and weight all plotters must ship via motor freight which adds some extra considerations to the delivery process. Cost is $75 for ground floor delivery with no lift gate and no indoor delivery service. Choose plotter shipping at check out. Please note that if you choose this option you will be responsible for getting the plotter into your building. If you do not have a loading dock at your building regardless of what floor you are on you will need a lift gate in order to get the plotter off the truck. If you need delivery on a floor other than ground or if you need a lift gate delivery is $150, choose plotter shipping-lift gate at check out. If you have any questions regarding plotter delivery please call us at 800-383-5195. Free Ground Shipping promotions do not apply for this item and all oversize items may be subject to additional shipping charges to be calculated and relayed to you before processing.

Large Format Paper Shipping:
The base rate for shipping large format paper is $12 for the first roll and $7 for each additional roll. However, due to size and weight variations the shipping cost may be higher on certain items. Should this occur, we will contact you with a updated shipping quote before processing your order. Please select the option for "Plotter Paper" under the CAD Garage checkout. Paper orders ship within the continental US only. Free Ground Shipping promotions do not apply for this item.

LaCie Monitors
LaCie Monitors ship via FedEx Ground for a flat fee of $12.

BookEndz Docking Stations
Expedited shipping is not available for BookEndz Docking Stations. Please select "Ground" as your shipping method at checkout. If you require expedited shipping for your order, please call us at 800-383-5195.

Other Items:
We ship most items directly from our distributors. Because of this it is difficult to determine availability 100% of the time. We try our best to keep availability up to date with regards to information supplied to us by our distributors but sometimes actual availablity may vary from quoted availabiltiy. If you would like a definite availability on any item please email sales@intcad.com or call us at 800-383-5195.


In the event of a backorder your credit card will be pre-approved but not actually charged until shipping.


Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. It may take up to 1 business day to process orders, though generally most go out the same business day if received by 3:00 PM EST, excluding holidays. We ship most items directly from our distributors with the exception of books which are generally stocked at our Cambridge location. Most ground orders ship via UPS or FedEx Ground and typically take 3-5 business days to arrive. Most 2nd Day Air and Overnight Air Saver orders ship via FedEx or UPS.

If you are shipping to a company address you must provide the company name. Many carriers will not deliver packages without complete shipping information.

Download Orders Some of the software packages we carry are available via download or on media. After you place an order for which you select your delivery method as "download" you will receive an order confirmation and then, within 24 hours (business days only, excluding holidays), you will receive a separate email with your serial number and download instructions.

All returns must be approved by CAD Garage within 30 days. If you wish to return an item please email sales@intcad.com or call 617-576-8778 to request an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number or to set up an exchange for a defective item. Unauthorized returns will be refused. A 10% restocking fee will apply to non-defective returns. You can take your refund as store credit to avoid this 10% restocking fee. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed.


Most items (excluding ALL software packages, replacement only) carry a 30-day money-back guarantee if product is unopened. Otherwise Manufacturer's warranties and guarantees apply. Shipping charges will not be reimbursed. A restocking charge of 10% will apply to ALL non-defective returns, unless you chose your refund as store credit. There are absolutely no returns on software.

Apple Products: No returns accepted of non-defective items. Replacement only on defective items.
