Docking Station for 2nd Gen 15" MacBook Pro - Firewire 800

Please Note: This dock is for the 2nd version of the MacBook Pro. This dock has an additional FireWire 800 port, and WILL NOT work with laptop models manufactured prior to October 2006 or after October 2008. A compatible laptop will have 5 ports on the right hand side.Please call 617-576-8778 with any questions.

The docking station replicates all of the connectors and ports from the sides of the 15" MacBook and routes the connectors, to the back of the dock and uniquely manages the new MacSafe Power Connector. The dock allows for all of the peripheral devices normally connected to the sides of the MacBook - Power, Ethernet, Modem, FireWire, USB, Audio In, Audio Out, and Video (converts mini DVI into a full size DVI as well as a VGA) to be plugged into the back of the dock, and remain plugged in, independent of the computer. Taking the computer from the office or the home, or moving it from one room to another, doesn't require disconnecting and reconnecting several devices.

Please Note: Docking Stations for the new 13" and 15" Apple laptops released in October 2008 are currently in development. These new Docking Stations are scheduled for release in mid-April 2009.
